I recently came across this little camera brand on Behence and thought that is a really cool camera, but wow is that branding nice. From the logo, the icon set, photography, colors, textures, brand “swag”, mobile application, website all the way down to the packaging to brand is pretty cohesive and beautiful.
The six designer team, that can be found on the Behence page here, looked into much more than just branding though. They focused on the branding, the design of the camera, and the user experience when working on this project. The camera it self was designed to take a beating from the elements so it’s users can focus on having a good time and not have to worry about their camera, witch sticks with their brand goals of allowing people to film without having to think about it.
Finally, the user experience seems to be pretty well done. It is hard to tell as I can’t get my hands on this thing, but the app seems pretty easy to use on the video on their website. I am looking forward to seeing 360fly giving GoPro a run for it’s money in the near future.
As someone who spends a lot of their life going down hills standing sideways The Arbor Collective has been in my radar for a very long time and from a design standpoint has always been one of my favorites. They describe themselves by saying
Since ‘95, The Arbor Collective has been a growing cooperative of designers, artists and friends, whose shared goal is building rideable and wearable things from the best stuff possible. From day one, it’s been good times, all day, every day, almost without fail. Along the way, we’ve managed to combine a little forward thinking design and old school craftsmanship, with a serious commitment to the environment. —the arbor collective story
and they do a wonderful job telling that story visually. Their boards, clothing, typography, photography, website, and everything else pushes the message the collective is trying to get out there. You can take a look at their website to see what makes them tick here.
I also really love what they do to support artists. They collaborate with artists big and small to give their products a unique look that fits their style perfectly. Please go take a look at this list of a few of the artists they have supported since 1995.
Using everyday materials like cotton and cut paper, photographer Shirley Wegner stages these dramatic scenes.
Rather than the smaller dioramas you typically see, Wegner’s constructed landscapes fill up entire rooms.

I have been a huge fan of Isenseven for years now as a snowboarder, but as a designer I always get excited to see that they are putting out a new film or clip. They combine the crazy creativity that is ever present in their videos with a style of their own and some good typography to put together a film company that is like no other.

An interesting illustration for Fox in the Box design studio, a studio calling themselves “the quality obliges” in Romania. Though their branding seems to have changed from this I thought it was a need sketch book kind of illustration that could work somewhere else as well. Have to keep it in mind.

It’s nice to run a nice wine brand every now and then, they are usually pretty creative in their branding. I really like the way the creative team presented the final product to, even the logo being in context over the brand’s artwork. Going to have to keep my eye out for a bottle.
Siot Wines
Logo + Label + Landing PageDesign of a logo, identity treatment, label and landing page for Siot Wines.
The key concept of the Siot brand historicism: Siot is named for Adolph Siot, one of the original winemakers hundreds of years ago in the Paso Robles region. After decades of name changes and evolution, the winery owners decided to go back to the roots of the land and pay homage.
Custom artwork was sourced and used as a base for the brand aesthetic alongside thematic art direction.
I completed this project as presiding Art Director and Designer with Juice Media, Paso Robles. Illustrations/painting/sketches provided for Siot by the talented Paso Robles artist Adam Eron Welch.
